Lawrence G. Evans, 70, of Lancaster went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2014 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. Lawrence was born January 8, 1944 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Raymond Duncan Evans and Geraldine Louise Pifer. He was a member of New Life Christian Center.
Lawrence is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon Evans of Canal Winchester; sons, Donald (Amy) Evans of Carroll and Larry D. Evans of Columbus, 5 grandchildren, Abram, Christine, Andrew, Seth and Dylan; brother, Ronald (Eileen) Evans of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Visitation will be today 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Halteman-Fett and Dyer Funeral Home.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the New Life Christian Center with Pastor Gary Keller officiating. Interment will take place at Floral Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
