Mary Ann Bloom

Mary Ann Bloom, age 82 , of Lancaster passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Homestead Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was a devoted wife and mother and member of Emanuel Lutheran Church Lancaster. Mary Ann enjoyed sewing, baking and reading.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Carolyn (Jim) Daubenmire, Cathryn (Ken) Karns, grandchildren: Abigail (Phil) Herington, Andrew (Julie) Daubenmire, Matthew and Scott Karns (fiancé, Anna Yarbrough), and great granddaughters, Molly Bloom Herington, Nora Jane Herington and Lucy Marie Daubenmire, sister Norma Bullock, sisters-in-law Margaret Creachbaum, and Norma Jean Crist, many nieces and nephews including: Jeff Bullock, Michael Bullock, Ann Bullock Streeter and Caryn Bullock Halstead.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by George G. Bloom her husband of 60 years, and her parents, James and Edna Cook Barnes.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at Emanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Raddatz officiating. Burial will be at Forest Rose Cemetery.

Friends may call 5-8 P.M. Tuesday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the Church.
