Mildred Marie Saylor, 101, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away Thursday February 25, 2016 at the Pickering House. She was born March 15, 1914 in Garretts Bend, West Virginia to the late George and Virgie Smith. Marie was a longtime member of the Lancaster Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth E. Saylor; brothers, Kessel Smith, and Reed Smith; and sister, Anna Dare Smith Cherry.
She is survived by brother-in law, Foy A. Cherry; nieces, Sandra Curtis and Sue Lambert, nephews, Chris Cherry, Gary Smith, and Kenneth A. Cherry.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 2nd at 12:30 P.M. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Lancaster, Ohio. Minister Jason Thompson will be officiating the service. Arrangements have been made through HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
