Paul R. Ety, 91, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Monday, December 6, 2021 at Pickering House. He was born June 25, 1930 in Lancaster to the late John and Ethel (Mondhank) Ety. He was a prominent local farmer for many years and could always be found working outside. He enjoyed going to high school sporting events, watching college football (especially the Buckeyes) and watching girls college softball. Paul proceeded in death by his wife, Jane. He is survived by his children, Andrew (Loren) DaSilva) Ety, Paula Ety Knight, Christopher Ety; two grandchildren, Jackson Knight and Audrey Knight; nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home. Private interment will be held by the family. Memorial contribution may be made in Paul's name to Fairfield Community Health Center or charity/religious organization of your choosing.
