Robert John Snider

Robert John Snider, age 94, passed away on May 13, 2026. He was born on July 29, 1931, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Everett and Blanche Snider. Bob graduated from Pleasantville High School, a foundation that helped shape the disciplined, dependable man he would become. He later retired from the Cyril-Scott Company.

Beyond work, Bob found genuine enjoyment in the simple pleasures that bring people together. He was an avid bowler and a loyal fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Robert was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #531 and the Pleasantville Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Donna Jeanne (Estep) Snider; his daughter, Susan Bauer; his sisters, Jean (Noel) Lehman and Patricia (Robert) Green; his father and mother-in-law, Claude and Alka Estep; and his brother in law, Claude (Juanita) Estep Jr.

Bob is survived by his son, John (Jane) Snider; his grandchildren, Joe (Ashley) Snider, Jenna (Michael) Byrnes, Amy (Tim) McIntire, and Jennie (Adam) Pyle; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 6PM at the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME with Phil George officiating. Visitation will take place from 4PM-6PM on Tuesday.
