

Shirley Ann Morris, age 74 of Lancaster, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Shirley was a loving wife, grandmother and great-grandmother known affectionately as “Sassy Grandma”. Ray and Shirley wintered passionately in Astor, Florida for over 20 years and managed the “Wildwood Campground”.
Survived by: her husband of over 52 years, Raymond C. Morris, children; Greg (Diane) Morris, Doug (Patsy) Morris, Cheryl (Mike) Winegardner, Peggy (Jay) Shepherd, Paula (David) DeBolt, Chuck (Gerri) Morris, and Christine Gustafson, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers and sister; Donald (Helen) Smith, Robert (Sharon) Smith, Donna Jean (Harold) Bigham, Gary (Emily) Smith, nieces, nephews, and many, many dear friends.
Preceded in death by; her beloved son Curt Morris, grandsons Ricky Mathias and Gregory Morris, her parents, Charles and Esther Smith, brothers; Francis Bone, Norman and Richard Smith.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Maple officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests contributions to the Bible Baptist Church, Lancaster, Ohio, or the American Cancer Society.
