

She was a retired United States Postal Supervisor (34 years) and a loving friend to all who knew her. Susan loved the Lord with all her heart and was anxious and ready to stand by His side. Susan loved her children, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; along with her many nieces and nephews.
Susan loved everybody and loved doing things for many people. She was a giving person, especially with hugs. She loved Mel Gibson and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Susan loved Vegas, where she lived for 22 years. She loved gambling, Bingo, and bowling, where she traveled North America as an avid pro-am bowler. She always had a cup of coffee by her side and loved eating out. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Wolfel; her son, Dennis A. George; parents, Florence and Joseph Collins; brothers, Richard, Patrick, and Earl; and her sisters, Marie and Lynn.
Susan is survived by her loving baby sister, Betty Jo (Dave) McDaniel; sons, James (Bobby) George and Kenneth (Ever) George; and her “favorite daughter”, Susan (Nate) Thornton.
A Celebration of her life will take place on her 80th birthday on January 29th, 2023 at the home of her daughter, Susan Thornton. Dignity Cremation is to take place through the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME.
