
Violet Louise Jeffers Stickel went to be with her Lord and to join her loving family on January 24, 2016. She was born in Canal Winchester to Homer and Hazel Jeffers on July 9, 1930; along wither her twin sister, Vivian. Along with Vivian her two brothers, Victor, and Edwin and her other sister, Edna Engle, and Kay Johnson are all waiting for her to reunited. Also waiting for her are her beautiful sons, Freddy and Edwin Stickel.
Surviving Violet are her brother in law Joe Johnson. Her loving children, daughter, Vicky Tipton, Lancaster, OH, and her sons William (Pat) Stickel, Stoutsville, daughter in law Vicki Stickel, Circleville, OH, Ruth Stickel, Columbus, Tom (Brooke) Stickel, Lexington, KY, and Greg Stickel, Columbus, OH. Her grandchildren are Christy (Greg) Chase, Lancaster, OH, Jesse (Heather) Stickel, Lancaster, Molly (Ryan) Smith, Zanesfield, Ryan (Kendra) Stickel, Kent, Amanda Stickel, Stoutsville, Katie Stickel, Columbus, Nathan Stickel, South Carolina, Macy and Kyle Stickel, Lexington, KY. She also has 10 great-grandchildren, Derrick, Colton, Brody and Bryce Chase; Gwen, Whitney and Veronica Smith; Rose and Iris Stickel, and Jackson Cure.
Violet attended Canal Winchester for 11 years, but graduate from Lancaster High School in 1948. Violet worked at the RayoVac plant then went on to work as a switchboard operator at the Fairfield Medical Center for 20 years. She worked there until she retired and moved to Lexington, KY. She had many fond memories from her job and missed it upon retirement.
Violet was a member of the White Shriners of Jerusalem of Lancaster. She was a lifelong member of the Pentecostal church of Baltimore and Lancaster.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 27th, 2016 at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home from 6-8PM. White Shrine service will be held at 7:30PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 AM with the Minister Mallory presiding. Interment will follow at Union Grove Cemetery in Canal Winchester, OH.
