Brian Walter O'Riordan

Brian/Rio was born April 11, 1963, in Surrey, B.C, the son of Patrick and Zella O'Riordan.

Brian/Rio worked at Hastings Park in Vancouver and several surrounding farms. He was very much loved and appreciated by the Hastings Park community since he was 15 years old. This was Brian/Rio's entire love, passion and life.

Brian/Rio especially loved all his horses. He was devoted to all the animals he loved and cared for. He had such a close relationship with so many people in the racehorse community. They were family to him.

Remaining to cherish Brian/Rio's memory are: sisters, Patricia Hart and Kathleen O'Riordan, nieces and nephews; Justin Hart, Michael Hart, Derek Gulka and Christina Ketteringham and any his additional family in the Racehorse Community.

Preceding Brian/Rio in death are his parents Patricks and Zella O'Riordan and brother Sean O'Riordan.

The funeral is scheduled for Brian/Rio at Hastings Park in Vancouver, BC with a reception to follow. A near future date will be announced. Kathleen O'Riordan will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Brian/Rio's life.
