Elizabeth Anne Phillips was born April 30, 1954, in Toronto, the daughter of William Edward Phillips and Vera June Phillips.
Anne worked as a seamstress for a few Companies throughout her life.
Anne especially loved crafts and sewing. She was always making something as a gift for others. She would make an outfit, crochet a blanket or needle point a picture.
She has made costumes and wedding dresses or bridal party dresses for family and friends. Anne also altered her daughter’s wedding veil for her granddaughter’s wedding.
Anne worked in group homes for several special needs people throughout her life.
Anne was special to a lot of people that knew her and what made her special to them is that she cared for her sister with special needs. She was a jokester and spontaneous road trips to Capilano Suspension bridge at Christmas were one of these moments.
Anne had 2 dogs, and she loved her dogs. She always had animals around her. They were a comfort to her. Anne always loved country music. It was always playing. She enjoyed it that she learned how to play bass guitar and joined a band for a short while.
Anne, may you rest in peace on this journey as we remember those good special gifts you taught us.
