Ersilia Modesta Russo, age 93 passed away on February 26, 2018. Born March 6, 1924 in Grimaldi Italy. She had the most generous, loving heart and touched many lives with her presence. Her family and friends will always be thankful for this gift that was her life. She will be dearly missed.
She married Giovanni Russo in 1944 and was married 37 years when he passed away in 1981. She is survived by her son Gino (Janet) and family, daughter Francesca and family, daughter Dina and family. She has 9 grandchildren and a great great grandson, as well as many relatives and friends.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 10 to 11 am at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Parish, 20680 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC. A reception will follow the service in the church hall at ST. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The graveside service will occur after the reception, from 1 to 1:30 pm, at Gardens of Gethsemani, 15800 32 Avenue , Surrey, BC.
