Isabella was born in Langley, British Columbia, on December 12, 2003. She graduated from Langley Secondary School with the Class of 2021. Driven by her compassion for others, she had recently begun attending Kwantlen Polytechnic University with the goal of becoming a nurse, excited to build a future dedicated to helping people.
Isabella is lovingly remembered by her devoted mother, Loralee "Mama" Westby; her brother, Joshua Alexander; her grandparents, Wayne and Elizabeth Westby; her uncle and aunt, Wayne and Alice Westby; and her cousins, Natalie and Katherine. She will be dearly missed by many extended family members and cherished friends, from Ontario and British Columbia, each of whom held a special place in her life.
Isabella was loyal, deeply caring, effortlessly intelligent, and fun to be around. Her warmth and kindness shaped every room she entered. She had a quiet, exceptional gift for making others feel seen, understood, and cared for, often in the moments they needed it most.
Her passions included Warhammer, gaming, and exploring the many corners of history, from world events to political and military lore. She also found joy in writing and cooking, often pouring her creativity and curiosity into both.
She leaves behind a family and friends who adore her, a circle of people she made feel valued, and a legacy of kindness. A private funeral service will be held to honour Isabella.
We miss you Izzy. More than words can say. Your love and memories are a part of us. You are safe in heaven's eternal light, where we will meet again.
