Karen Rose Tomlinson

Karen was born January 5, 1955 in Vancouver, BC / the daughter of Robert and Mary Evans.

As a child, and only daughter with three brothers, Karen loved horses and was a very talented baton twirler.

In adult life, Karen enjoyed working with Canada Revenue Agency, Canada Post, ICBC, Telus and moving to different spots in Western Canada with her high school sweetheart, John. After John and Karen married, Karen spent special times being a loving mother of four daughters and a supportive wife.

Karen especially loved traveling the world with her husband John and friends. She loved to pull a chair up to the water’s edge, country music in the background and bask in the sunshine. She also loved to hike in nature and loved to keep her feet moving along, ready for an adventure.

Once grandchildren came, Karen loved taking them along on wagon ride adventures with snacks and loving patience. She loved to have all her family and especially her grandchildren nearby. Karen/Mom/Nana will be forever missed.

Remaining to cherish Karen’s memory are spouse, John Tomlinson; her loving children; Darci (Bodgen), Tara (Michael), Jenna (Trevor) and Carrie (Scott); her beloved grandchildren; Libby, Chaelee, Emery, Ellie, Rosalee, Samual, Harrison; and many more family and friends.

Memorial donations in Karen’s memory may be directed to Langley Lodge in her name. A celebration of Life is scheduled for August 2, 2025. More details to come and to be posted. Contact Karen’s daughters for information.
