Kevin Chadwick Stewart

Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, Kevin was the son of Sadie Elizabeth (Beth) and Orville Stewart who pre-deceased him. He is survived by his wife Shirley (Balch), sons Kelsey (Stephanie) and Jordan (Hana). He is also survived by his brother Mark (Heather) Stewart and sister Catherine (Robert) McKersie, mother-in-law Patricia Balch, brother-in-law Donald (Catherine) Balch and several nephews, nieces and a great niece and nephew.

Professionally, Kevin was a software developer, working for CopperLeaf Technologies, City of Langley and Provincial Health Services Authority. Kevin enjoyed playing and watching sports throughout his life. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays fan. If his sons were playing baseball or soccer, you would always find him in the stands.

In his retirement he took up curling at the Cloverdale Curling Club and played golf regularly with some of his curling buddies. He also got back into woodworking. He did beautiful work and enjoyed creating things for family.

The family would like to thank Dr Desilet and Dr. Luecke, and the amazing care teams at BC Cancer Surrey and Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre for their care and support.
