Margaret Kathleen Bush

Peacefully in her 105th year, Margaret Bush passed away on July 12th, 2022. Margaret (nee Young) was born in Fairfax, Manitoba, the youngest of 8 children. She attended Brandon College and McMaster University graduating in 1939 with a Bachelor of Arts. Many years later she received her Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba. Margaret married Lyle Bush from Beausejour, Mb. and taught school for many years in Garson, Morden, and Beausejour. Dad and Mom resided on a farm just outside of Beausejour, Mb. The Brokenhead River ran through their farm and Mom made it even a more beautiful setting with her flower and vegetable gardens. The home place was like a postcard photo. Mom really enjoyed her years teaching at Beausejour Collegiate where she developed many lifelong friends among students and colleagues. Mom had many positive memories of living and teaching in the Beausejour area. Mom was also famous for her pies, they were delicious! After retirement and after our Dad passed away Mom moved to Brandon, Mb. and in latter years resided with her daughter Frances in Langley, B.C.

Margaret is lovingly survived by her Son Allan and wife Janice, her daughter Frances, and her Grandchildren Tracy and Jim Bush, Alana and Laura Brandson and 7 great grandchildren.
