Michele (Mike) Silvestri passed away peacefully at the Langley Hospice on December 23rd, 2016 at age 89 years. Mike was born, raised and married in Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1951 and raised 3 children in Whitehorse, Yukon. He retired in Langley. He is survived by Teresa and their 3 children: Frank (Heidi), Anna (Benoit) and Lori (Claude). He will be greatly missed by his children, ten grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A very special thank you to Dr. Adamson, Dr. Duncan, and the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Langley Hospice. We appreciate all the loving care provided to our father during the last few months of his life. A celebration of life will be held January 6th at 11 am at the Henderson's Langley Funeral Home located at 20786 Fraser Highway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Langley Hospice Society (Ph: 604-520-1115).
