Even though it has been years and years since you lived in Coquitlam, I have so many wonderful memories of our family gatherings at yours and Auntie Polly's house. We thought we were the coolest kids because we always played in the bar downstiars, and I think we probably played a trillion games of hide & seek downstiars, too! Your backyard was always the best for our easter egg hunts! Thank you for always being so wonderful, giving, and loving to everyone, family, extended family, friends. It's the memories and feelings those memories bring that will stay with us for a lifetime, and I am so grateful to have made so many of those with you and auntie Polly. Love you & Auntie Polly always

Uncle Mike, you will be missed dearly by all. Such fond memories of your smiling face at all our family get togethers and you calling out "hey youz guyz, what you up to". May you rest in peace and know that you will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.

My deepest sympathies for Michael, Gail and families. I know it has 
been a very hard last couple of years for you. I will always remember your father as a very happy and nice person. The family gatherings we used to have when we were growing up were some of the best times of my life. Uncle Mike and aunty Pauline were great hosts which made our gatherings so special. Your father will truly be missed, but never forgotten. 

Dear uncle Mike, 

 As Steve say’s, “ I don’t think he changed from the day I met him to the day he passed away.” You were always the same man who consistently treated us with the same respect, love and compassion and that meant so much to us uncle Mike and we thank you for that.  You made it so easy for us to love and respect you. 
When you greeted us, you alway’s said, “there’s Stevie” and to me you would say “and how’s Patty?”  Those little memorable word’s that we will carry with us forever. 
Uncle Mike you always grew the best lettuce and you could never give us enough lettuce. When we left your house we always had 3 different kinds of lettuce and at least 1 to 3 bags of it. Will never forget your lettuce uncle Mike it was the best!
I remember when you and auntie Polly would come over and we would all play cards with mom & dad (Stan) and have a blast. You were so funny how you would  nit pick at auntie Polly and she would give it right back to you or vice a versa. You guys didn’t know it but you were quite cute bickering back & forth.
Then we would all have Chinese food and you loved that to.  You and auntie Polly and dad (Stan) will be playing cards and having Chinese food in heaven to. 
Thank you uncle Mike for being the gentleman and loving caring uncle that you were. 
We will miss you always,  forever in our memories and our hearts, see you again uncle Mike, love Patty & Steve  xoxo

In my life I knew 3 of my Great Grandparents, but for my children they had the opportunity to know all 8. The memories they've shared with me have been a comfort as of late. Rosie remembers Papa's laugh, Keira remembers his tickles, Lily remembers his hugs. I remember Papa's unfailing kindness for his family. That week every Summer when I'd stay and do yard work was the best part of my Summer. One thing that happened every Lunch and Dinner was when it was time to eat Grandma would stomp on the kitchen floor and pick up the phone. Papa would answer be told to come up, and then turn off whatever game he was watching and call out, "I'm coming Speedy." They taught me so much. Thank you Papa and while we miss you terribly, I can imagine your reunions on the other side are full of such joy.

Life won’t be the same without you. Thanks for all you have done for your family and friends. Heaven is a better place now with you and Mom.

Whenever I was around him, even if it had been a few years since I'd seen him, he acted like he had just saw you the day before. 
He loved his hockey and if you watched a game with him, you had to watch out for the flailing arms and legs as he REALLY got into the game. 
Rest easy, Mike Sr. You are missed and loved by many. 

I loved spending time with Papa. Its didnt matter if it was camping or just visiting Grandma and him at home, spending that time with my grandparents was something I always looked forward too and cherish to this day. All of the holidays, be them during summers off from school, Easter, Christmas or Thanksgiving to name a few, where experiences I'll never forget.

I still remember back in the early 90s when Uncle Roy, Great Grandma Stewart and even Baba where still with us and the Christmas' together as one family. I know those days are gone, but I will never stop loving the people who shared those times with us all. Papa was a part if those times and he will continue to be a part of me. I love you Papa and I will see you in the next life.
