Raymond Johnson

Raymond was born May 14,1953 in Vancouver, BC to parents Carl and Betty Johnson. After finishing school at Queen Elizabeth Secondary School in Surrey, he worked a variety of jobs but his main work was as a Class 1 driver and he had extensive knowledge of the Lower Mainland.

He loved music, particularly classic 60s and 70s tunes! He also enjoyed camping in the Pacific Northwest and spent a lot of time in that area. He also spent time golfing when time permitted it.

He was predeceased by his second spouse Ruby and third spouse Tracy; siblings Leonard, Richard, Allana and Andrew and parents Carl and Betty. He is lovingly remembered by his partner Hilda, twin brother Robert (Marilyn), sister-in-law Angie and his children Rachel (Lance), Tom (Kim), Meaghan (Shawn), stepson Josh, seven grandchildren and many other extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Ray’s honour to a children’s charity of your choice. A special thank you to Sylvia and Josh and Home Nurse Elizabeth for their dedication.

Ray was a man who walked his own path. We will miss his presence. Rest in peace with all our love.
