

Bob is survived by his children Helen Loraine Jackson, Sheila Lynn Griffiths, Rob Griffiths( Brenda) and Cindy(Barry Tallman) Nieces, nephews, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, his wife Helen, Son in law (Bryan Jackson), Grandson (Perley James Holmes).
Bob was born on August 31, 1932 in Langley, BC} to Owen and Mary Jane Griffiths ( Rees) He went to school in Aldergrove. He worked in the family business as a Bricklayer. He married Helen Fifer( Fajfer) in October 1953.
They settled in Langley. They had 4 children, Loraine, Sheila, Rob, and Cindy. He also later worked at the House of Concord, and Fort Langley National Historic site.
In 1963 he took a course for RCMP Auxiliary graduation in 1964, he worked with them for 13 years.
Bob was fond of gardening, woodworking. He got a pilots license, and enjoyed flying to Savory Island. He took taxidermy, and his CB radio. He played guitar, and banjo and he joined the First Capitol Chorus Barbershop quartet. He also joined the Langley Legion. Bob’s favorite food was any seafood, fish and chips in particular, and also Chinese food.
A funeral is scheduled for February 16th at 11 am at Henderson‘s in Langley, just a casual celebration of life. No reception or graveside service.
All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bobs’ life.
