I cannot understand or find comforting words regarding the sudden death of my nephew Ross. Such a shock for Peggy, adele, lisa, Wayne  & craig, their families and his friends. We all need to continue to tell his story and he will never be forgotten. Ross was such a caring young man who took such good care of you all throughout the years. I will miss his happy face, hugs and funny emails.

You where my number one Uncle. Will miss your joking around and many stays at your place, a nephew could not ask for a better Uncle then you. Will miss you dearly.

Ross is clearly going to missed deeply by everyone whose life he touched.  Reading others' comments here, I can't help but echo the sentiments that he was a great guy with a big heart, and was just a lot of fun to be around.  I'll always appreciate how Ross welcomed my sister and I as family, and I'll definitely miss my Uncle Ross.

To the Eeckhout family, our life long neighbours, in memory of Ross.

Our two family's came together 55 years ago, when Ross was 5. Ross greeted us into the new neighborhood by writing his name with his hands, on the newly plastered wall in the living room of our new house.  When confronted with this task, Ross grinned with a twinkle in his eye.  Somehow he knew, already at that young age, that he could stir up trouble, and get away with it, with that grin and twinkle in his eye.

We remember, when Hugh passed, how Ross took the torch from his dad, to watch over his family. How he was always there for all of you, through all these years.

We will always remember Ross for his humour, with that grin and twinkle in his eye when he was stirring things up.  We will always remember Ross, for the anchor that he was to your family. We will always remember Ross, for the loving man that he was to all, and how he judged no one.
