Wayne was survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Cindy, his parents; Olga and Harold, his brother Shawn, his two children; Tysen (Chelsea) Jenna (Keith) and his four grandchildren: Charlie, Jax, Remi, and Cash. Wayne meant so much to so many. He was a wonderful husband, son, father, papa, brother, cousin, uncle and so much more.
Wayne was born on December 9, 1957, in Vancouver, B.C. where he grew up and settled down with his high school sweetheart, Cindy. They made their memories and family in Surrey B.C. Wayne was a family man to say the least. Nothing lit him up more them spending time with his son and daughter. To see them become parents themselves was so special to Wayne, he was so proud.
Wayne worked hard all of his life, always giving it his all. When he was diagnosed with cancer in June it was no surprise that he would fight the fight so hard. That's just who he was, strong and courageous.
Wayne loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He enjoyed riding his bike, rock n' roll music and of course a good steak and a pale ale. All these things he enjoyed with family as often as possible.
We will honour the life of Wayne through a Celebration of Life at a later date. We take peace in knowing that Wayne will be reunited with his older brother Glenn, father-in-law Jack and his dogs; Boss and Tuko.
We will all miss your strong loving hugs, quirky humour, and big heart. We love you to the moon and back
Forever young ♥
