This past December, just after Christmas, the littlest Angel snuck out of Heaven. She wasn’t made for this world, but when she saw her earthly mother she longed to be cradled in her arms and to experience the love of a family. Fashioned of pure light joy and love her family at once recognized the amazing being they had in their presence. She was mommies little "Lilah bug" and "Daddies pretty girl." Her face was sheer heaven and everyone who had the honor to meet her was immediately captivated by her innocent charm. She was here just a short while and though she never uttered a single word her little life touched many in a way mere words could never express. When the Lord discovered where she had gone He agonized over having to bring her home. But on April 20, 2012 just before dawn He came to retrieve her, because He knew she had a greater purpose in Heaven. The Lord promised the tiny angel that she could look after her family all the days of their lives. So before she left she placed a kiss on her mother's cheek and whispered in her ear "Momma don’t be sad, I love you and will be with you always."
That little angel was Alilah Johanna Wilson; our hearts will be irreparably bruised without her yet we were blessed to have known her. She will be forever missed by her mom Christina Lynn Roche, her big sister Taylor Lyn Smith, her brothers Phoenix Lee Roche and Amari James Wilson, her Nana's Doris Johanna Smith and Debbie Allen, Her Grandpa's Scott Smith, Joe Burman, James D Williams Jr., and Roy Allen, her great Grandmas Sondra Gunderman, Rosemary Smith, and Mildred Wilson along with countless aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and all the Nurses and Doctors who gave her such tender care at Sparrows RNICU and PICU. Please say a prayer for her family.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also will be. Where I am going you know the way. ~~ John 14: 1-4
