Age 38, our loving son, brother, and uncle passed away April 13, 2016. Born July 27, 1977 in Lansing, Michigan. Anthony loved to tell stories, and was always smiling. He enjoyed hanging out with friends, and appreciated the Spectran bus drivers. He was a M.S.U. fan, liked listing to music, movies, watching T.V. with his mom, shopping, and liked tacos and pizza. He was a 1997 graduate of Waverly High School. He had been active with Special Olympics.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Ester Shipman; father, Daniel D. (Teri) Shipman; brother, Andrew (Samantha) Shipman;; step-brothers, Matthew Ward, and Steven Ward; nieces, Emelia and Eden; nephew, Jesiah; grandmother, Celeste Harrison-Domeyer; his dogs Loki and Oso. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron James; grandparents, uncles, David Shipman, and Alanson Harrison
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. Saturday with the Memorial Service being at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 23, at North Westminister Presbyterian Church, 743 N. Martin Luther King BLVD, Lansing, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in memory of Anthony.
