Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away July 17, 2012 at the age of 80. She was born September 30, 1931 in Detroit the daughter of Newell and Virginia Tune. Barbara will be remembered for her love of cooking wonderful meals and bake goods for her family and friends. She had a gift of creating beautiful arts and crafts and loved attending county fairs. She especially enjoyed the time that she shared with her precious grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Rogers. Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Janice Wenk; sons, Ronald (Linda) Rogers and Michael (Maria) Rogers; eight loving grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. In honoring Barbara's wishes there will be no services held. Those desiring, may make contributions in Barbara’s memory to the Lansing City Rescue Mission, 607 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912.
