Age 85, died December 14, 2012; born April 29, 1927 in Lansing, MI. Mr. Novello served in China with the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from the Lansing Fire Department in 1981 after 31 years; was a member of the Holt Christian Church; a past Commander of the CBI-VA and a member of the American Legion. Preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Floramae “Rickie”; daughters, Cheryl and Linda Novello; son, Dennis, Richard (Debby) and Robert (Pamela) Novello; grandchildren, Mark, Jessica, Jennifer, Adam, Andrew, Patricia and Aleighsa; and 9 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his loving family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 18, 11:00 AM at Holt Christian Church, 2424 S. Washington, Lansing, MI with Pastor Daniel Cameron officiating. The family will receive friends, Monday, 3-7 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, MI.
