

Bette L. Fratzke, 74, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 in Novi, MI. She was born in Lansing, MI on July 7, 1943 to the late Paul A. and Cleda (Decker) Foltz. She was a Case Worker for 27 years for the State of Michigan, Department of Health and Human Services. She was a current member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Howell, and prior to that she was a member of Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lansing. She loved collecting antiques and other treasures that she discovered at flea markets. She also had a passion for going to the beach to collect shells. Traveling was one of her favorite things, and she traveled extensively throughout the United States. She loved helping others and was a devout Christian. Her family meant the world to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Paul G. Foltz; and sister, Nancy Orel. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Waldemar Fratzke; 2 sons, Walter Fratzke and Brian Fratzke; 3 grandchildren, Derek (Flor) Fratzke, Kody Fratzke, and Zachary Fratzke; 1 great-granddaughter, Isabella Fratzke; and sister, Lana Brewer.
Funeral service is 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Emanuel First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1001 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing with Pastor Mark Frank and Pastor Paul Lindloff officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Monday at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Street, Lansing and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in Delta Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The American Cancer Society. The family is being served by Tiffany Funeral Home.
