Born March 6, 1921 in Howell, the daughter of the late Lyle and Margaret Bennett, died November 2, 2012 at the age of 91 at the Dimondale Nursing Care Center in Dimondale. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Lloyd A. Grandy; sons, Gareld (Gary) L. Grandy of Michigan and Gordon E. Grandy of Georgia; son-in-law, Larry Clements; grandson, Jason Clements; and great granddaughter, Jessica Macha. Surviving to cherish her memory are daughters, Cheryl Woodruff (Duane) of Florida, Connie Clements of Michigan, and Darlene Churchill (Wayne) of Virginia; eighteen grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty worked for Michigan National Bank for ten years and in real estate as an office manager for twelve years. A private chapel service for the immediate family only will be held at Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing.
