Betty L. Kletke

Age 90, died September 16, 2018, born June 20, 1928 to Oscar and Ruth Martin. Betty was a resident of Lansing all of her life. She retired from MSU after 20 years of service. Betty volunteered at St. John Student Parish where she was a very active member. She loved to play cards, shop, attend movies and traveled to all 50 states. Her family was a very important part of her life. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Emil K Kletke (2017) and two sisters. She is survived by her sons, Emil (Julie) Kletke Jr. and Todd Kletke; daughter, Kathy Riel; grandchildren, Somer (Matt) Lietaert, Stevi Riel, Eric (Neala) Riel, Kelsey Kletke and Kole Kletke; great-grandchildren, Macy Hendrickson, Madison Lietaert, Gabe Lietaert and Dema Rose Riel; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 am, Thursday September 20, 2018 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
