Age 85, went home unexpectedly to be with her family on February 8, 2016. Born April 15, 1930 in Eagle Twp. Clinton Co., MI. Betty was devoted homemaker and a member of Capitol City Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Cyndi (Doug) Waldrop; son, Jack (Tammy) Lockwood; 5 grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) McGinnis, Beth (Pete) Waldrop, Blake (Melissa) Waldrop, Ashley (Ben) Bradley, and Karah (Matt) Houghtaling; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Marian Figg; brother, Dewey S. Howard; and many other family members and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Gerald E.; and 2 sisters, Mary Ames and Ethelyn Hoxie.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Capitol City Baptist Church-Deaf Chapel, 5100 W. Willoughby Rd., Holt, MI with Pastor Al Cooper officiating.
