Born October 16, 1931 in Lansing, to Stanley and Leta King, passed away December 21, 2011 at the age of 80. Bruce is survived by his loving wife Jeanne; sons Mark King, Greg King, Dean (Terry Leshuk) King, Matthew King, Mike (Sue) Hill, Patrick (Susan) Hill; daughter, Lori (David) King-Clyde; grandchildren, Jacob (Ashley) King, Joshua (Morgan) King, James Clyde, Christopher King, Trevor Leshuk, Benjamin King, Paige Hill, Morgan Hill, Madison Hill and Jonathon Hill; great grandson, Lex King; dear cousin and friend, Wayne (Debbie) Kruger; and 4 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Joyce Collins. Bruce was a graduate of Eastern High School (1949), MSU (1953) and U of M Law School (1958), and served his country in the U.S. Army. He practiced law until he became a Federal Administrative Law Judge for the Health, Education and Welfare Department in 1976, retiring in 1997. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Eaton Community Hospice, 2675 S. Cochran St., Charlotte, MI 48813 in memory of Bruce. Bruce was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed. The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to Eaton Community Hospice for their compassionate care of Bruce. The family is being served by the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes.
