Bruce Ronald Smith, Sr. was born on July 2, 1938, the son of the late Kenneth and Arlene Smith, and passed away on August 29, 2015 at the age of 76. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 40 years. He also belonged to Union Local 324 as a member of the Operation Engineers and helped to build the Board of Water and Light towers. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Sara Smith. Surviving to cherish his memory are three daughters, Patricia (Jim) Sleight, Jodie Miner and Dawn (Dave) Whalen; four sons, Bruce (Sandra) Smith, Jr., Kenneth (Carmen) Smith, Steven Smith and Scott Smith; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and one brother, Dennis (Sandra) Smith.
