Carlos,
I still miss you every day my friend.  I guess God needed another Angel and he only takes the best.  RIP
I could use your help with the lottery numbers.  I asked my mom to send them to me before she passed away last November 30  and I am still waiting.  I hope you two have met.  My mom would have loved you.
Until we meet again, and yes I will start exercising and lighten up on the socialising.  I don't have anyone to keep me in line anymore.
I miss you so much.  The gym is not the same without you.

I can remember Carlos when we were young I would walk to Sycamore Park to ice skate and stop by his house to pick him up, I was hurt inside when I learned of his passing and I am so sorry for the family, Carlos was a very very good person my deepest sympathies to all of his family members

There are just no words to describe the man that Carlos was. I have known the Tackett family for at least 30 years now. Carlos made me feel like family from day one. From tball games with the kids to college football games he never missed a sporting event or life event for that matter. To know him was to love him and feel that love right back. To all the family, I can not express how sorry I am for your loss. Thank you for sharing your hero with me and my family. Carlos will be missed by so many❤️❤️❤️ I love him and you all with all my heart!! 

So sorry for the loss of your loved one I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. As was stated he LOVED his family and if you knew him you knew that SO TRUE!! I had the pleasure of knowing Carlos thru Fisher Body we hired in the same year. He was pleasant,kind,funny,and had a smile that lit up his whole face. Gone to soon and you will not be forgotten RIP

My deepest Condolences go out to the family.  I worked with Carlos at Fisher Body for 30 years  We stayed in touch at the gym. I would wait for Carlos to come to work (Planet Fitness) so we  could drink coffee talk sports and reminisce  about the daily gossip.  I will truly miss him in the morning.  a true gentleman.  RIP Carlos.

I'm sorry to hear this sad news, I had the honor of working with Carlos for many years at fisher body side by side,  he always had a big smile and positive attitude everyday. Never complained and always saw the bright side of life. His willingness to help his co- workers was above and beyond kind. my condolences to his family and friends as he was one of the good ones to walk this earth!

I am going to miss you it was fun working with you for over 25yr at GM and you know I am going to keep in 👀 on our kids and grandkids. (RIP) 

I worked with Carlos at GM for 30 years. We had lots of fun working together. In 2005 when Fisher Body closed, we went to work for Community Service at Cristo Rey Church and we bonded at that time as really good friends. We really enjoyed watching his Grand-Son play football. Was hoping that he could watch my Grand-Son play football someday but God had other plans. Carlos has a great family and did a good job taking care of him at the end of his life. Thoughts and prayers to his wife and family. I am going to miss him. 



So sorry for your loss. Thoughts & prayers to the family. I remember Carlos as we were kids growing up on the Northside. Baseball at The Salvation Army parking lot all summer long. Swimming, bike riding, skate boarding, hanging out on our front porch every night. So much more. Memories to last forever. He was an awesome person. Unfortunately growing up, moving you lose touch, but memories never die. Love ❤️ 

To Maria and the family,
Carolos was quite simply the best person I knew.  When I first met him at Planet Fitness he became like a big brother to me.  I would go on breaks with him just so I could hear about his beloved Maria, children and grandchildren.  He was the person that taught me that parents loved their children and grandchildren.  I was shocked.  When I would share those stories with my therapist she finally broke the news to me that most parents love their children and the way I was raised was not normal.  His stories were so important to me.  I would beg him to adopt me.  When he found out that I was going to be alone for the holidays he found a gym member to take me in for Thanksgiving and another member to take me in for Christmas.  Then he did a fundraiser for me.  When the State Journal interview me, the staff and some of the members a gained an even bigger family.  Carlos would say to me:  Karen, you could get a lot more exercising done if you didn't socialize so much.  He always treated me like a little sister.  I will miss him so much.  My heart breaks for your Maria and the kids and grandchildren.  When God made Carlos, He broke the mold.  I will never forget Carlos and when I am sad I will remember Carlos telling me to quit socializing and get exercising. RIP my friend/big brother.  Karen Hartigan   My heart is broken
