Carol Pizzo

She was born on December 14, 1955, in Lansing, Michigan to June and Frederick Watkins.

Carol graduated from Harry Hill High School in Lansing and went on to dedicate 15 years of service to Target, where she worked until her retirement.

In 1998, Carol married the love of her life, James “Jim” Pizzo. The two shared many happy years together until his passing in 2018. Among her most cherished memories were the times spent with Jim boating, fishing, and camping.

Carol enjoyed diamond art and took pride in crafting homemade fairy houses, which she sold at a local retail store. She also loved bird watching, especially hummingbirds, and found peace in gardening and spending time outdoors.

Carol is survived by her children, Christopher (Amy) Watkins and Shannon (Dave) Slocum; grandchildren, Lilly, Daisy, Katie, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Bentley, David, Alexander, Dakkota, Emma, Skyler, and Logan Jr.; and siblings, Jonathan Backstage, Bob Watkins, Katie Emmons, Ivan Watkins, and Walter Watkins. She is preceded in death by her sister, Janette; and her parents.
