Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, who brought kindness, laughter, and joy to everyone around her.
She grew up in Bath, MI and was a graduate of Eastern High School. She went on to dedicate her career to the State of Michigan, retiring after many years of service. Throughout her life, she made her home in Holt, MI, where she raised her children.
Carol’s greatest pride and joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She adored singing to her children when they were young, and her love for music carried on throughout her life. Carol’s laughter was infectious, and her jokes always made those around her feel at ease. Her love for her family extended beyond her children. She had an unbreakable and admirable bond with her mother, Betty, and her daughter, Holly.
Carol brought more joy into the world than she ever took, and her countless friends can attest to her ability to brighten any room. Carol’s presence was a source of light, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Though her family and friends will miss her dearly, they take comfort in knowing that Carol is now free from pain and at peace.
Carol is survived by her children: John (Rebecca) Haskell, Mark (Tracy) Haskell and Holly Haskell; grandchildren: Joe Hill, Wyatt Haskell and Elijah Haskell; two great grandchildren; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jimmy "Toby" Tyler.
