Carolyn Costigan, age 66, passed away January 4, 2016. Carolyn was born August 24, 1949 to the late Luia and Roberta DeWitt in Lansing, Michigan. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sister; Cheryl Roberts, brothers; James Edwin DeWitt and James Christopher DeWitt, children; Cathy (Patrick) McCormick, Trina Velasquez, Lisa (Lance) Rose, Kelly (Roger)Bateson, Phoebe (Jeff) Galey, step children; Ron and Robbie Costigan, 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 nieces, and 3 nephews. Carolyn retired from Sparrow Hospital formerly Dimondale Nursing Care Center and Metro Bowl Bowling Alley. She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing marbles, yatzee and cards. Carolyn will be missed by her 2 pups Stinky and Bella. For those desiring, contributions may be made in memory of Carolyn to charity of one’s choice. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. Funeral service will be held at 11am Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Funeral Home.
