Catalina passed on to Heaven May 7, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born March 22, 1926 in Asherton, TX. She will be greatly missed by family members and friends. Catalina was proud of the life she worked to achieve, but most of all her family was the priority in her life. She also had a strong love for God.

Catalina was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 70 years, Teodoro; sons Jose and Jesus, and granddaughter, Melissa. She is survived by daughters, Blanca (Jose) Amaya, Alamar (Griff) Canfield, Juanita (Gilbert) Gonzales, and Teresa Marinez; sons, Ricardo, Teodoro Jr., and Jose (Jodie) Marinez. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 10th, with a 8:00 P.M. Rosary in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Memorial Funeral Liturgy is 10:30 A.M. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at St. Gerard Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Fr. David Fons presiding. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Thursday at church.
