Consuelo Elizalde Hernandez, 82, died January 24, 2015 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born June 10, 1932 in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico to Porfirio and Maria (Yeverino) Elizalde.
Consuelo was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, and she also loved cooking and gardening.
Consuelo is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hernandez, Sr., and daughter Mary Carrizales. She is survived by three daughters, Rosa Landeros, May (Kenneth) Brown, and Dora (John) Elias; three sons, Raymond (Patty) Hernandez, Eddie (Robin) Hernandez, and Jesse Hernandez; 13 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; eight brothers; and two sisters.
Private family services will be held.
