

Dan owned and operated DL Perry Masonry. Affectionately known as Dan-the-Man, he had a reputation for providing quality workmanship on every job, as well as being kind and caring to everyone he met. Dan also worked at UPS, loading packages onto planes. Dan was no stranger to hard work, but he also enjoyed many hobbies through the years including golf, being a member of the C.A.R.D.S flying club, and more recently - hunting down unique antiques at estate sales. Dan loved his family, his friends, and riding his Harley Davidson.
Dan is survived by his twin daughters, Melissa (Ryan) Betz and Angela Stobnicke; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Keegan, Ethan, Adalyn, Chloe, Nashoba, and Aliviya; siblings, Duane (Holly) Perry, Loren (Mignon) Perry, Leora (Jim) O’Conner, Joyce Perry, Margie (Ken) Brown, and Steven (Carrie) Perry; as well as his longtime companion, Linda Collins. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Leora Grace Perry; and his brother, David Perry.
A visitation for Dan will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W Saginaw St., Lansing, MI 48917. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with a one-hour prior visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Following the service, Dan will be laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery, 6415 Delta River Dr., Lansing, MI 48906.
