David K. Ball

Age 65, our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away July 31, 2015 at his home surrounded by family. Born January 24, 1950 in Lansing. David earned his bachelor's degree in business technology. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic and paratrooper. He worked for 21 years at Motor Wheel. He later began a career as a real estate investor. He enjoyed golfing and traveling, and he was a Tigers baseball fan. But most of all he loved family dinners and spending time with family.

Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Christine A. Ball; son, Chad Ball; daughter, Jennifer (Tom) Williams; 2 granddaughters, Kayla and Kelly Williams; 3 sisters, Pam (Scott) Spicer, Jane (Bruce) Stickle, and Maribeth Miller; half-brother, Rick Ball. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary & Roger Vandervort; sister, Candy Jones; brother-in-law, Phil Miller.

Visitation is from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Tuesday with services 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Pastor James E. Robinson officiating. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. David's family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of both Home Instead, and Hospice of Lansing for their care of David.
