

Battle Creek
Age 85, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek surrounded by his family. He was born on January 5, 1930, the son of Josephine and John Duda. David attended Sexton High School and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He subsequently worked for a short period of time at General Motors Fisher Body Plant and was a member of St. Casimir Catholic Church. Having suffered with a debilitating illness for most of his life, David is now comforted by the loving arms of his Savior Jesus Christ.
Surviving are his children, Anthony (Suzanne) Duda, John Duda, Tina Duda, and Valerie Duda; grandchildren Matthew, Patrick, Kathryn, and Chelsey; and his brother Alex (Syliva) Duda. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Theodore (Marilyn), Frank, and Stanley.
A Funeral Mass will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Coughlin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Rd., East Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends one hour prior before the Funeral Mass.
