Even though I never had the opportunity to meet Davin, I can see from the condolences here that he was a family man who gave selflessly to others, much like his father. He was so loved. What an awful weight for your family to carry right now. Please know that we are here as your friends and coworkers to hold your hand and stay by your side in this time of darkness and grief. We love you.

To Davin's family and loved ones -
I wanted to extend my sincere condolences to you and tell you that I am so sorry for what you are going through.  I have been praying for you and thinking of you since the time of the accident.  There were multiple people from the Old Oakland neighborhood that responded right away to the accident.  I hope this gives you some comfort in knowing that even though we didn't know Davin personally we do care.










I'm still in shock and speechless. Davin you were a good friend to me when we were little. I remember coming over your house to swim watching daisy run around in the yard. Playing video games in the basement. It's been a couple of years since we talked,and when we did it was like old times. I really can't believe you're not here anymore. I will never forget our memories we had a kids. My condolences for the family. And may God be with you all.

Davin was a part of my life for 17 years. Even though I am no longer officially a part of this family, my heart still goes out to everyone who loved him and I still feel the loss. It just doesn't seem real, I keep thinking about that little boy who bought me a giant diamond pin and asked me to marry him instead of his brother. Or the adult brother who was always protective of me. My thoughts and prayers are with the Villarreal family. He will be missed.

Nicole - Jim called us yesterday with the sad news. We are so sorry for your loss and pain. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you and sweet Sophia.

He was always a joy to work with and a joy to be around. His daughter was the light of his life and you could tell that from everything he ever said. He would always aim to put others in a better mood and I don’t think I ever saw him break away from that. He was a role model for other employees, and definitely helped me out a time or two with some advice. All of his former coworkers at 8793 will miss him popping in from time to time and sharing his smile. He was a great father and a stand up person. So very sorry for your loss. 

I worked with Davin for several years on 6 West.   He was an amazing person that so loved his wife and daughter.  He thought the world of the both of you.  I am deeply saddened by his unexpected departure and just know that he loved you both unconditionally.   Davin wore his heart on his sleeve and took such pride taking amazing care of his patients.  I was blessed to help him during some of his challenging times.   Again please know that his family was his top priority and he so loved to brag about the both of you!!!  So ver sorry.
