DeLane D. Hall

DeLane Dedrie Hall, age 54, went to be with our savior on March 27, 2012. DeLane was born in Flint, MI on July 14, 1957 to Belva (Krueger) Shaw and James ("Bud") Shaw, both of whom have preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law Richard Hall. DeLane and Dennis Hall were married on May 6, 1995 in Montrose, Michigan. DeLane was previously employed by C-E-I Community Mental Health Authority. She graduated from Clio High School in 1975, and was a teacher in Brownsville, Texas, after graduating from Michigan State University. DeLane was always there for her nieces and nephews, each and every one of them. She helped anyone she could; they only had to ask and she was there for them.

DeLane is survived by her wonderful and loving husband Dennis Hall; one sister, Gloria (Michael) Morrish of Montrose MI; two brothers, Donald (Shirley) Cole of Clio, MI, and Michael (Pamela) Shaw of Millington, MI; mother-in-law, Ann Hall of Livonia, MI; brother -in-law, Richard (Susan) Hall; and their two daughters, Jessica (Brian) Rossana and Stephanie Hall; nieces and nephews, Cheryl (David) Thompson, Colleen (Brenda) Cole, Michele (Michael) Pasheek, Jeffrey Guest, Brian (Lori) Guest, Kerri Sherbino, Geri Ann Stafford, Bridget Shaw, Jennifer Shaw, and Bradley (Theresa) Shaw; great nieces and nephews including, Nicholas, Olivia ("Girlfriend") Chema, Bode Gerwalds, and Conner Shaw, as well as best friends, Pam Marietta, Rick, Lori and Scott Frederick, and Linda and Ron Hawkins. DeLane loved to sing, make crafts, beading, reading and scrapbooking. She especially loved her two dogs Hagrid and Albus. We want to thank each and everyone who took care of our loved one at Hospice House of Mid Michigan. Thank you so much. Our loved one is now at peace. No more hurting, no more pain. We all love you until we meet again in heaven. A funeral service will take place on Monday, April 2nd, at 10:00AM, at Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge St., DeWitt, MI. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 1st, 2-4 & 6-8:00PM, with the Rosary at 7:00PM, at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI.
