Der Yang

Der had 5 sisters and 8 brothers. Their names are: Plia, Xey, Dia, Chee, and Gor Yer, Joua Fong, Chue Hua, Long, Chia, Rhia, Yia, and Cha. She is survived by Xey, Yia, and Cha.

Der Yang and her beloved husband Cher Thai Thao were married on December 18, 1978. Counting that day to now, they have been married for 32 years, and had 7 beautiful children of three girls and four boys. These are the names of their children: Kristy (Xe), Youa (Brooke), Pao Hue Ying, Pa, John Ying Leng and Chang-Lee David. She's also the beloved Grandma of 15 grandchildren. Der Khameng was a sister, a mom, a wife, an aunt, and a friend to everyone.

Der was a faithful, kind hearted, joyful and caring person, who believed in cleanliness, speaking the truth and being trustworthy. She loved to share her ideas on things she learned or knew. What she loved to do in her own spare time was to look for new herbal plants and planting her garden. After she would sow and reap, she shared it with her family and friends. She also loved to disciple her children to follow the way of the Lord and to always do the right things.

Der Yang will always be in our hearts and our minds for the rest of our life.
