Dianne Helene Marsh

Dianne Marsh of Lansing passed away on January 8, 2026 at the age of 65. She was born June 12, 1960 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan to the late James and Sharon Lorenz. Dianne graduated from Lansing Eastern High School and remained in the Lansing area to raise her family. She married the late Michael Marsh on January 20, 1987. They had 2 children she loved beyond all measure.

Dianne had an uncanny proficiency in cards and certain games. She also loved music and was frequently found with her headphones on rocking to the beat. She was passionate about animals and had an assortment of exotic pets throughout her life. She worked a variety of jobs with her most important being in the company and care of her father in his later years. She loved glittery things, going barefoot, getting her nails done, and Judge Judy. She was strong yet vulnerable, gregarious and kind but also very private. She had a ‘larger than life’ presence and will be greatly missed.

Dianne is preceded in death by her husband Michael and parents James and Sharon Lorenz. She is survived by her daughter Brenna, son Ian, siblings Vicki (Rick) Kurbel, Cathy Lorenz, Mary Jo Lorenz, Caroline Lorenz and James (Shauna) Lorenz, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dianne requested no formal service but a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider a donation to the Capital Area Humane Society (Please find link below).
