Donald A. Fox

Age 90, died September 8, 2010; born June 9, 1920 in Lansing, Michigan the son of Cleo and Lillian Fox. Mr. Fox was a member of IBEW Local # 665 for 70 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. He started Fox Electric in 1963 and was the owner until 1981. He served in the Navy during WWII. He will be greatly missed by his family and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings. Surviving are his wife, Hazel; 2 daughters, Janet L. (Buddy) Smith and Julie A. (Tom) Seitters; 4 sons, James D. (Victoria L.) Fox, Ronald L. (Julie) Fox, Dennis Fox and Gerald C. (Elena) Fox; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice (Don) Benson. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 11, 10:00 AM at the Church of the Resurrection, 1531 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing with the Rev. William Koenigsknecht, officiating. The Rite of Committal will follow in Gunnisonville Cemetery, DeWitt. The family will receive friends at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM with the Rosary at 7:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Lung Association, 403 Seymour, Lansing, MI 48933 or the Family will purchase phone cards for the troops serving overseas in memory of Mr. Fox.
