Donnie Ray Vandergriff, 71, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born March 17, 1947 to Dintus and Berniece (Rowe) Vandergriff in Randolph County, Arkansas and was a steam fitter for the Lansing Board of Water and Light for 24 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dintus and Berniece Vandergriff; and his son, Dennis Vandergriff.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Christine (Ed) Mullins and Sue Montgomery; his grandchildren, Whitney (Josh) Barnette, Caitlin (Zack) Lyon, Forester Mullins, Jay Montgomery, and Charlotte Montgomery; his great-grandchildren, Levi, Olivia, and Sawyer Barnette, and ParZing Mullins; his brother, Leon (Heather) Vandergriff; his sister, Kay (Glenn) Obarts; his half-sister, Frieda Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11am at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing, Michigan.
