Earl Lipp

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Earl passed away after a brief illness Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the age of 84. Earl had been a member of St. Therese Parish for 50 years and was a long time president of St. Therese St. Vincent De Paul Society. He was an avid golfer and bowler who never stopped moving. He loved his family, countless friends, music, and life. He belonged to St. Michael?s Club, the Knights of Columbus, and was a volunteer for the Red Cross Food Bank. Earl was an avid Michigan State sports fan. Earl is preceded in death by his first wife Patricia L. Lipp. He is survived by his wife Flo Jenks; sons Kevin (Heidi), Eric (Debra), Michael (Anne); daughters Roberta (Jeff) Casto, Diana; grandchildren Jessica, Katelyn, Samantha, Steven, Garrett, Alex, Erin, Brianna, Ellie, Dylan, Lindsey; stepchildren Jeff (Diane) Jenks, John Jenks; sister Irene Murray; brother J.D. (Margaret); and sister-in-law Joyce. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at St. Therese Parish, 102 W. Randolph St., Lansing, officiated by Fr. Michael Williams. The visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 Monday, with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. followed by eulogy at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw.
