Edward Winston

of Lansing, MichiganAge 67, died unexpectedly November 5, 2007 at his home. Edward was born October 17, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama and was the son of Edmond and Marie (Prowell) Winston. He retired after many years of service with Security at General Motors. Edward loved his family, especially his grandchildren very much. He loved to travel, cooking and watching sports, especially football. He will be missed very much. Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Addie M. (Sanders)Winston; sons, Edward (Jenni) and Eric (Michele) Winston; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Tyler, Devin, Aaron; sister, Gwendolyn (Rev. Robert) Jones and a host of nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters, Juanita Williams and Marjorie Winston. Visitation will be 6-8PM Friday, November 9, 2007 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 West Saginaw Hwy, Lansing, 48917. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Saturday, November 10, 2007 at the New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 3800 W. Miller Road, Lansing 48910 with Rev. Columbus Clayton officiating. Interment is Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in memory of Edward.
