Age 76, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011. Fred ?Down Town Freddy Brown? worked as a Sr. Supervisor for the City of Lansing before retiring after 30 years. He was a member of the VFW post #701, and Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Fred is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Mary Jane Brown. He is survived by his children Debra K. Brown, Steven M. Brown; grandchildren Frankie Tomonica, Jr., Mary Jane Brown; great grandchildren T.J. , Frank III, Telisza Jane, and R.J. Tomonica; and special Friend Marty Adams.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at St. Gerard Parish, 4433 W. Willow, Lansing, followed by entombment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour before the service, and from 2-4 and 6-8 with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Monday at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing.
