Fred C. Mazur, 74 of DeWitt, MI died August 4, 2024 in Lansing, MI. He was born on October 29, 1949 in St. Johns, MI to Clemens A. and Anne Marie (Gregor) Mazur. He graduated DeWitt High School in 1968. After graduation he served in Vietnam with the US Army.
Fred worked over 33 years at General Motors in Lansing as a Skilled Tradesmen. He enjoyed woodworking, fixing his grandchildren’s toys, and supplying the kiddos with an endless supply of batteries.
Fred is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharol (Babb) Mazur. Children Nikki (Shambus) McClure of DeWitt, MI and Brent (Kate) Mazur of Lake Ann, MI. Grandchildren Isabel, Madeline, Josephine and Hudson McClure; Amber Hastie, Luke, Ruth, Andrew, David, Samuel and Joseph Mazur. Great-grandchildren Geoffrey and Maverick Hastie.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents Clemens and Anne Marie Mazur; father and mother-in-law John and Mollie Babb; and great-granddaughter Darci Hastie.
Fred was a quiet, humble man who loved his family deeply. He will be missed more than words can express.
